Travel Nurse RN - ICU

Job Summary:

Anna Jaques Hospital is seeking an experienced and dedicated ICU/CCU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our critical care team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled nurse with a strong background in critical care, capable of providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, including monitoring vital signs, managing complex medical equipment, and administering medications.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform advanced assessments, make clinical decisions, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: BSN required
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience (3 years preferred); previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Licensure: Current Massachusetts RN License
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
• Additional Requirements: COVID-19 vaccination and booster required at time of submission
