Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Role Overview:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing facility equipment and infrastructure. This position ensures all machinery operates efficiently and safely within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections on machinery and systems, making necessary repairs when issues are identified
• Implement scheduled preventive maintenance across all equipment
• Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements to boost efficiency
• Procure necessary materials and supplies for maintenance and repair projects
• Coordinate and conduct equipment repairs and routine servicing
• Troubleshoot issues by monitoring mechanical systems and using diagnostic tools
• Dismantle equipment to identify defective parts, utilizing cranes, hoists, hand tools, and power tools
• Fabricate or modify replacement parts using machine shop tools
• Facilitate safety and equipment training sessions such as forklift operation and safety protocols
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and regulatory standards
• Communicate clearly with management and production teams to align on current and future maintenance projects
• Maintain accurate records of all completed maintenance tasks
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs outside of regular work hours
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements
• Use proper personal protective equipment and comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications:

• Eagerness to learn new skills and take initiative in becoming self-sufficient
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Physically able to stand, walk, and kneel for extended durations
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and pushing up to 175 lbs when necessary
• Flexible with scheduling and work hours

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance and equipment repair experience
• Experience with low and high voltage electrical systems is beneficial
• Sanitary welding skills are an added advantage
