Job Summary

This position offers solo coverage with full hospital staff support, no call responsibilities, and a fast credentialing process. The ideal candidate will work in a hospital-based setting, providing inpatient consultations only.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient hematology/oncology consultations
- Collaborate with hospital staff and an on-site MD for support as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Deliver high-quality care to patients with a caseload of 8-16 per day
Qualifications and Experience
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
- Minimum of 24 months of experience required
- Active BLS and DEA certifications
- Louisiana state medical license
