Job Description:

Client Relations Specialist work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. Store associates Customer Service Specialists are also expected to promptly resolve any customer concerns and ensure maximum client satisfaction as well as stay up-to-date with product features and maintain the high quality and visual standards of the products and store. Customer Service Specialists are tasked with achieving excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store's sales goals.

The role involves engaging with customers, including minors, and having access to cash, payment methods, electronic devices, personal information, store merchandise, and valuable items, with the possibility of supervised or unsupervised access. Therefore, a criminal history check is considered essential by the Company to ensure the protection of the business, its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.

Responsibilities:

  • Secure elevated customer satisfaction by providing outstanding sales support
  • Engage with customers in-store and during phone interactions, determining their needs to present fitting products and services
  • Forge strong and dependable connections with wholesale and retail partners to maximize outcomes
  • Correctly executing sales transactions while maintaining conformity with established guidelines
  • Successfully achieve sales objectives monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Safeguard precise work order files and formulas
  • Obtain the correct merchandise from the sales section or warehouse
  • Personalize products by tinting and mixing to customer preferences
  • Create visually appealing showcases by stocking shelves and setting up displays
  • Clean store equipment
  • Load/unload delivery trucks
  • Assist in the timely delivery of goods and items
  • Ensure the designated areas remain well-stocked and visually appealing
  • Keep yourself informed about the items being presented and discuss the various choices that are available
  • Comply with the procedures for overseeing inventory
  • Put forward ideas for improving sales success

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • All participants must be over the age of eighteen (18) years
  • It is essential that the candidate can work legally in the country of employment without having to rely on sponsorship for a work visa, both presently and in the future
  • Effective communication in English necessitates the capacity to read, write, and understand the language
  • Skills in Spanish reading, writing, understanding, and effective communication are needed
  • Possession of a valid and unrestricted Driver's License is compulsory
  • It is crucial for the individual to have the capacity, with or without suitable adjustments, to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks and lift weights of up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally
  • The position requires individuals to be flexible in working all designated hours, even on weekends and evenings, with or without reasonable modifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Essential qualification involves a high school diploma or an equivalent GED
  • Show evidence of one year of experience in either delivery, retail, or customer service roles
  • Experienced in retail environments selling paint and associated merchandise
  • Knowledgeable in the operation of tinting and mixing tools based on prior work experience
