Job Overview:

The Perdue Foods facility in Cromwell, KY is hiring a Complex Technical Site Manager . This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and analyzing working methodologies to improve factory efficiency and reliability, enhance asset utilization, and reduce costs. You will provide technical and operational support for plant infrastructure maintenance and continuous improvement activities, driving a robust Maintenance Excellence Program. Additionally, this position will help reduce line downtime, assist with process improvements, and promote safety programs within the plant.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement methodologies to improve factory efficiency and asset reliability.
• Drive and sustain a culture of loss control and continuous improvement.
• Provide support for maintenance activities and equipment reliability to minimize downtime.
• Promote the plant’s Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) program.
• Manage operations to ensure timely completion of departmental work, utilizing people, equipment, and materials efficiently.
• Implement safety programs in line with BBS and EAS regulations.
• Develop and deliver training for technical skills, TPM, safety, and other applicable topics.
• Communicate change effectively within maintenance teams to reduce barriers.
• Assist in capital project development and implementation with corporate engineering.
• Lead or participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) studies.
• Ensure quality levels and on-time delivery schedules are met.
• Recommend process and equipment improvements, including increasing overall work quality and working conditions.
• Manage the maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and development.
• Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance is completed and properly documented.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with capital projects as directed.
• Evaluate and resolve maintenance issues, ensuring effective communication with associates.

• Proactively identify and resolve safety concerns within the maintenance area.
• Adhere to corporate EH&S guidelines and procedures, including Lockout/Tag-out Programs.
• Participate in the plant’s safety program and follow all PPE guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the maintenance parts room.
• Comply with GMP and corporate quality SOPs.
• Understand the impact of maintenance on plant’s Micro goals and support Micro prevention practices.

Experience & Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of maintenance management systems, preventative and predictive maintenance, and manufacturing technologies.
• CMRP, Six Sigma, and Lean certifications preferred.
• Strong communication, math, organizational, and analytical skills.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move throughout the facility, including exposure to wet and moist floors, and varying temperatures (28°F to 100°F) and humidity levels (up to 100%).
• Must be able to climb heights (up to 150 feet) and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to noise levels (50 to 110 dB) and chemicals used in poultry processing.
• Must wear protective equipment as required and may need to move equipment or access files and supplies.
