Playing a pivotal role in the triumph of our Shop Assistant, this position involves working closely with both wholesale and retail customers to assess their needs, respond to their inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and offer appropriate suggestions. The core duties of store associates encompass swiftly resolving any customer issues, ensuring maximal client satisfaction, keeping updated on product features, and upholding the exceptional quality and visual allure of the products and store. Store associates are entrusted with providing outstanding customer service while consistently meeting the store's sales targets.

The job involves interacting with customers, potentially minors, and handling financial transactions, electronic devices, personal details, inventory, and valuable items. This access, whether under supervision or not, prompts the Company to deem a criminal record review necessary to protect its business operations, credibility, and ensure the safety of customers, employees, stakeholders, and the public.

Responsibilities

  • Help clients either in person or through phone calls by understanding their needs and offering the correct products and services
  • Establishing productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers is key to building lasting partnerships and driving business growth
  • Complete sales transactions with precision and in alignment with prescribed policies and protocols
  • Work towards accomplishing sales milestones regularly, whether on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly timeline
  • Maintain precise documentation of work orders and formulations
  • Bring forth fitting products from the storefront or warehouse
  • Modify and combine goods to align with the exact specifications of clients
  • Place merchandise on display racks and arrange products in an eye-catching manner
  • Clean store equipment
  • Load/unload delivery trucks
  • Aid in the transportation of goods as needed
  • Maintain the stock levels and appearance of designated areas
  • Maintain awareness of the available merchandise and talk about the options that are on offer
  • Abide by the rules governing inventory management
  • Propose strategies to increase sales effectiveness

Minimum Requirements:

  • The minimum age required is eighteen (18) years
  • Individuals must be lawfully allowed to work in the employment country without the necessity of sponsorship for employment-related visa status now or at any subsequent time
  • A Driver’s License that is both valid and without restrictions must be held
  • - Ability to access materials from shelves and floor areas and to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. as needed, with or without reasonable modifications.
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts is essential, and applicants must be willing to work as scheduled, with or without reasonable modifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is a prerequisite
  • Minimum of one year of involvement in a delivery, retail, or customer service job
  • Experienced in the retail sector with a specialization in marketing paint and associated products to customers
  • Skilled in utilizing tinting and mixing machinery based on prior work experience
  • Being able to read, write, understand, and communicate in multiple languages signifies a high level of linguistic competence
  • Skill in reading, writing, understanding, and conversing in either Spanish or Turkish
